Welcome to Uyghur Muslims Association – Advocating for Justice, Knowledge, and Unity
Uyghur Muslim Association strives for the rights and justice of Uyghur Muslims who are being persecuted by the Chinese government. Our work includes advocacy for Uyghur rights, education on Islam, and interfaith dialogue. We consist of Uyghur scholars from across the globe and work to provide and translate fatwas and Islamic books into Uyghur, as well as offering assistance and connecting with Islamic relief for needy Uyghur families.
Our multifaceted mission includes:
- Voice for the Voiceless: We strive to amplify the voices of the voiceless Uyghur Muslims who are facing persecution under the Chinese government. Our advocacy seeks to bring attention to their plight and promote justice on their behalf.
- Research for Human Rights: The Uyghur Islamic Research Center is dedicated to rigorous research on Uyghur Muslim human rights issues. We aim to provide comprehensive insights that contribute to a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by our community.
- Education and Awareness: We are passionate about educating Muslims worldwide about the Uyghur genocide. Through various initiatives, we work to raise awareness, foster empathy, and build a sense of solidarity within the global Muslim community.
- Connecting Communities: Building bridges between Uyghur Muslims and the broader Muslim community (Ummah) is at the core of our vision. By creating connections, we hope to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood that unite us as Muslims.
- Interfaith Dialogue: We strive to be a bridge between Muslims and non-Muslims, fostering understanding and promoting dialogue. Through educational programs, events, and initiatives, we aim to build bridges of understanding and cooperation.
- Islamic Education: Our commitment extends to educating Uyghurs and others about Islam. We believe that knowledge is a powerful tool for dispelling misconceptions and fostering mutual respect among diverse communities.
